Warner Bros. TV is promoting two veteran executives.

Clancy Collins White has been named president creative affairs, a new position at the studio that will add casting and research to her purview. Casting chief Mele Nagler, meanwhile, has been upped to executive vp, reporting to Collins White.

Clancy has been an essential part of Warner Bros. Televisions success for more than two decades, and I am thrilled that she will now take on an even more prominent leadership role. Storytelling is at the heart of everything we do, and Clancys taste, collaborative spirit, passion for making great television, and dedication to our artistic partners make her the ideal creative leader for our future, said Channing Dungey, chairman and CEO of Warner Bros. Television Group and WBD U.S. Networks. Mele has played an invaluable part in putting together stellar casts for our highest-profile current series. Im delighted to recognize her outstanding work with this most-deserved promotion. Collins White has been executive vp creative affairs at WBTV since 2020. In her new role, shell continue to oversee comedy and drama development (headed by Adrienne Turner and Parul Agrawal, respectively), with Naglers casting department and audience and content research and insights, led by Jeanne Cotton also reporting to her.

Nagler will continue her role as head of casting for the studio, leading efforts for all of its live-action scripted shows, leading her team and hiring independent casting directors.

Dungey retains oversight of current programming, with that departments head, Vicki Dummer, reporting to her. Brett Paul, president of Warner Bros. Television Group and COO of WBD U.S. Networks, continues to head business affairs.

Collins White joined WBTV in 2004 as vp current programming and moved into drama development three years later. She rose to executive vp drama development before moving to executive vp creative affairs.

Nagler joined Warner Bros. TV in 2015 and was promoted to vp a year later. Prior to becoming senior vp and head of casting in 2022, she was the studio casting executive on series including The CWs Black Lightning and Kung Fu, OWNs critically acclaimed David Makes Man and Netflixs Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Sweet Tooth, among others.
