‘The Sandlot’ Actor Launches Production Banner
‘The Sandlot’ Actor Launches Production Banner-April 2024
Apr 30, 2025 5:34 AM

Patrick Renna, a longtime actor with credits across film and television, is teaming with actor Kyle Howard and actress/marketing executive Lynsey Bartilson Moore to launch a production banner that has a slate of scripted and unscripted projects in the works.

The banner, titled Hambino Media, nods to Rennas breakout role in 1993s sports comedy The Sandlot.

Among the shingles non-fiction projects is an untitled series in development with Banks Tarver and Ken Druckermans Left/Right productions and the MLB, a Surviving the Hot List web series with Golf Digest as well as two untitled projects with Blind Nil, Chip and Joanna Gaines production company. Renna, Howard and Moore are also developing a half-hour comedy series set in the world of fan conventions titled The Big CON, with Ethan Sandler and Adrian Wenner writing and Victor Nelli to direct. The Hambino Media team is also working on developing a feature treatment of World of Hurt, based on the fiction of horror novelist Thomas Tessier, with a script adapted by Chris L. McKenna. Both projects would star Renna if deals are made.

Were building Hambino Media to be a creative force that not only produces great content for other brands, but also develops original stories were passionate about telling, Renna said. Our goal is to bring fresh ideas to the industry while continuing to help other artists and businesses tell their stories in innovative ways.

Howard, whose credits include Your Family or Mine and Royal Pains, recently had a 10-episode run in Apple TV+s sci-fi series Me. Moore, who has appeared on multiple seasons of Grounded for Life, has recently served as chief operations officer at creative agency Studio III Marketing.

Last year Renna appeared in Mel Gibson horror-mystery film Monster Summer and sports drama You Gotta Believe, with Luke Wilson and Greg Kinnear.

The actor has previously branded an athleticswear company (inspired by The Great Hambino) and a non-profit youth sports organization with the Hambino name. And, on Feb. 25, he will release, via Penguin Young Readers, a book, A Little Sluggers Guide to the Unwritten Rules of Baseball and Life.

Rennais represented by Griffin Talent, UTA and Persona PR.
