Suburban Police Chief Found Not Guilty, Other Charges Dropped-April 2024
Apr 26, 2025 6:30 PM

Update, Sept. 19, 2023:Christian Daigre was found not guilty in this case following a bench trial that ended May 15, 2023. Additional charges against him were later dropped by the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office.

A south suburban park district police chief has been arrested and charged with distributing over social media self-made recordings of his sexual encounters with women without their consent.

Christian Daigre, 40, was charged Wednesday in Cook County with five felonies, including two counts of non-consensual dissemination of private sexual images and two felony counts of intimidation.

According to the Chicago Police Department, Daigre recorded “private encounters” with multiple women inside his Chicago apartment. He then posted those online without the women’s knowledge or consent.

The “allegations are egregious,” CPD spokesman Anthony Guglielmi tweeted, and “if proven, (are) a disgraceful abuse of power and trust from police and community.”

Daigre, who turned himself in to Chicago police on Monday evening, no longer appears as an employee on the website of the Chicago Heights Park District Police Department. The department could not immediately comment on the charges.

Daigre is also charged with a felony count of possessing a controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in bond court Wednesday.
