Good Good Golf Raises $45M In Round Led by Creator Sports Capital-April 2024

Creator-driven media companies and golf-focused media companies are both having a moment, so it is only logical that the creator-focused golf media company Good Good Golf has been able to raise $45 million in a new funding round.

The new round is being led by Creator Sports Capital, alongside partners that include Manhattan West Private Equity, Sunflower Bank, and Peyton Mannings Omaha Productions.

This investment allows us to scale our media and commerce initiatives, bringing even more exciting content, products, and experiences to our rapidly expanding community. Good Good Golf was founded in Texas in 2020 to create digital and social content focused on golf, and to build a community around that content. The company has more than 1.75 million subscribers across its YouTube channels, and also partnered with NBC Sports and Golf Channel on events like the Good Good Desert Knockout.

The significant fundraise comes as creator-driven media companies spark enormous interest from investors, looking to get involved with the next generation of media companies. Another Texas-based creator-driven company, Dude Perfect, raised $100 million last year to expand their business, while Mr. Beast is seeking to raise hundreds of millions of dollars at his company.

And golf-focused media companies are having a moment, with Pro Shop generating notable Hollywood deals, and Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroys TGL seeing early success on ESPN (Good Good Golf is an investor in the TGLs L.A. team).
