Dafne Keen, who broke out as an 11-year-old child actor in Logan and reprised her role as Laura in last summers Deadpool Wolverine, has signed with UTA.
On the TV side, the Spanish-English star most recently starred in the Disney+ Star Wars series The Acolyte, which aired from June to July last year. She played the Padawan Jedi Knight Jecki Lon on the series, which was led by Amandla Stenberg and created by Leslye Headland.
Previously, Keen led the BBC One/HBO fantasy series His Dark Materials, playing Lyra Belacqua opposite Ruth Wilson and James McAvoy in the adaptation of Philip Pullmans novels that ran for three seasons from 2019-22.
Her work on 2017s Logan earned her acclaim, and for a time there was even talk of a spinoff movie starring her character. While that never happened amid Logan studio 20th Century Foxs acquisition by Disney, she did get called up to return for Deadpool Wolverine, which earned $1.3 billion globally. It reunited her with her Logan star Hugh Jackman, and allowed her to enter the Marvel Studios fold for the first time.
Keen will continue to be repped by Independent Talent Group in the UK, Liebman Entertainment, Public Eye Communications and Goodman Genow.
