Comedy artistNaomi Watanabehas signed with UTA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners for representation in all areas.
The comedian, actor, voice actor, model and fashion icon is looking to expand on the international stage in English-speaking film, TV, comedy and elsewhere by nabbing U.S.-based representation.
Watanabe debuted as a comic in Japan in 2007 and quickly made waves with her lip-synching impersonations of Beyonc singing Dreamgirls and Crazy in Love. With her celebrity impressions showcasing her comic and acting chops, Watanabe eventually moved to New York City to break into the U.S. comedy scene.
In 2021, the comedian produced and hosted the comedy podcast Naomi Takes America, which was followed by a seven-city comedy show tour. In 2024, she also hosted Stand Up with Naomi Watanabe at the Gramercy Theater, where her debut English language comedy performance for one night only sold out both performances.
As a social media powerhouse, Watanabe is a notable influencer in the fashion and beauty space, having signed global partnerships with brands like Adidas x Ivy Park, Gap, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, and Hugo Boss. She also launched her own streetwear clothing line, Punyus.
Watanabe continues to be managed by Grace Chen of Graceful Media, and is also represented in Japan, where she remains a major celebrity, by Yoshimoto Entertainment.
