Every Thursday night, “Chicago Tonight” ventures out to talk with local residents and tell the stories of area communities in our In Your Neighborhood series.

In 2022, WTTW News visited 33 Chicago community areas, some more than once, plus 10 Chicago suburbs. We even ventured up north to take the pulse of Milwaukee.

From a Thanksgiving water main break, to a community rebuilding after an apartment explosion, we want to be there for the big news events.

But beyond those kinds of stories, we really aim to highlight what’s happening every day in communities around the region, and shine a light on those commonalities that can bind us together.
